Originally from the east coast, I have lived in San Diego for over 25 years and call it home. I started using Mary Kay a LONG time ago when someone offered me a complimentary facial. Having acne and no idea how to take care of my skin or apply makeup, I accepted. After using the Mary Kay skin care and seeing a tremendous improvement, I was recommending it to others. In 1988 I quit my job as a research technician to attend graduate school full-time. However, I still wanted to make some part-time income that could easily work around my changing school schedule. In researching the Mary Kay opportunity, I found it an ethical and solid company…and the perfect choice. I have been a Mary Kay Consultant ever since and still have customers from those early years. I did finish graduate school and earned a MBA. I have had several jobs in the marketing profession. I am a member of Ocelots, a volunteer organization for the Zoological Society of San Diego. I have proudly served as president for both the Ocelots and for LeTip of Greater San Diego.
